Privacy Policy

No cookies. No accounts. No personal data sold.

What data we collect

QuizSort collects the minimum data necessary to operate. Here is a complete list:

  • Email address — only if you voluntarily subscribe to quiz notifications. Stored alongside any franchise preferences you select.
  • Quiz engagement counts — anonymous, aggregate counters of how many times each result has been viewed. No personal identifiers are attached.

What we do not collect

  • No cookies are set.
  • No accounts or passwords are created.
  • No quiz answers or results are stored on our servers.
  • No personal data is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.

Browser storage

Quiz progress is held in your browser's session storage and cleared when you close the tab. Quiz history, streaks, and achievements are stored in your browser's local storage on your device only. This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.

Analytics

We use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service. Fathom does not use cookies, does not track individual users, and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. No personal data is collected through analytics.

Email notifications

If you subscribe to quiz notifications, your email address and optional franchise preferences are stored securely. Emails are sent via Resend. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Unsubscribing permanently deletes your email from our system.

Data storage

Server-side data (subscriber emails, engagement counters) is stored on Netlify infrastructure. No data is transferred to third parties except for the purpose of sending notification emails via Resend.

Your rights

You have the right to request deletion of any data we hold about you. Since the only personal data we store is an email address (if you subscribed), you can delete it yourself by clicking the unsubscribe link in any notification email. Children

QuizSort does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. The email subscription feature is intended for users 13 and older.
